Can I ask you something personal? (You may ignore this question, if it sounds too personal) Are there any stories you have written that you weren't satisfied with and went "Man...I wish I could go back & do that story better"?

Sure, lots. I wish I had written the Savant/Creote fakeout thing differently so it didn’t mirror gay suicide tropes and cliches.  I wish I had gotten Wonder Woman off the island a little more in my WW run.  I wish I could have gotten Firestorm to the point where we could do the amazing stories we had in mind.

It happens all the time…not sure I would trust a writer who was pleased with everything they ever wrote.
