"Do you want a reading that is fresh and with glamorous touch? Want to spend a half hour with a smile, reading the sparkling story of a girl who meets a handsome and impossible man that will give a hard time? Well, then, "The Forbidden Man" by Chiara Cilli is the tale right for you! Chic, sensual and intriguing... this brief taste of the erotic series Matt Staton's Agency will captivate you and leave you with the desire to know quite how the story continues!
Cristina Cabrisi is an independent and determined girl, loves to do achievements and is proud of her trophies about men. One summer afternoon she went to cousin's house to help her prepare for a party and her eyes meet Matt Staton, a businessman who is there for a business meeting. Beautiful, vigorous and in possession of two ice eyes to make your head spin and, paradoxically, to melt women like snow in the sun, Matt was chosen by Cristina as her new prey. However, the nice guy that fixes her blatantly is not an easy conquest and immediately put a strain on the resourcefulness of the young woman. After a fleeting exchange of effusions, in fact, Matt pulls back and offers her a job at his agency, leaving Cristina at the mercy of doubts and uncertainties. Who is Matt Staton? What is the job he wants to offer? And why has sparked in her a passion so strong? The same that burned in his eyes as he was so close...
Chiara Cilli's story is an excellent reading entertainment that mixes with balance and elegance romance and eroticism. This is perhaps the most important, namely the fact that, although it is a narrative that explores the sensuality, the content isn't absolutely vulgar or explicit nor too strong and unsightly, so it's a nice mix of liveliness, freshness, humor and passion. The background texture is very tantalizing and intriguing and certainly curious, so once started reading the story hardly be able to leave.
I was particularly touched by the author style, which shows in a few pages she has a lot of talent. The prose is fluid and smooth, very fast and dynamic and it is impossible not to be affected by sudden events that happen to the protagonist. The Cilli makes good use of the Italian language and her writing is vivid and exciting. Very accurate descriptions, both of the environments that the ones where the characters are presented.
Another item of note is the very beautiful characterization of the protagonists and of the other figures that gravitate around. There are few pages of narrative, yet each character is outlined with decided brushstrokes and is unmistakable. Cristina and Matt are the ones who are most in-depth, but also the only extras are able to enter immediately into our heads and earn their place in our attention.
Cristina is a resourceful girl and likes to play, has a nice frank and provocative character, is not easily duping and does not want to fill the role of the helpless prey. She is a slayer. She always wants to have the situation under control and she likes the fun and worldliness. I must admit that I relate to nothing about her, we are totally different, but this dissimilarity has made her really nice to me, I enjoyed following her actions and thoughts, and I'm curious to find out how she will manage her forbidden man. Matt is a very charming and charismatic guy, although very difficult to decipher. Physically he is certainly a man who lay down millions of women and his ice eyes and his wry smile are certainly not less! The massacre of hearts is guaranteed! However, his character seems quite complex, so he is not a character granted, and, just like Cristina, he also wants to be the hunter. A good fight, eh?
I liked the way of Chiara to analyze the thoughts of the protagonist, making us partakers of her every emotion, even the most intimate, especially the feelings that evidence in front of Matt, and this is a factor that allows the story to appropriate a sensual and intriguing charm.
A sparkling and engaging story, two enterprising and bold protagonists who want to go to war, a fresh and current writing... "The Forbidden Man" by Chiara Cilli is a delicious erotic tale like a gallant aperitif, if you love romance seasoned by a good dose of passion, you should definitely read it!"
