Action movie: The Tournament

To be fair, The Tournament, an inependant British action movie about assassins killing each other, is pretty silly. It's a very predictable action movie that relies as much on its characters acting stupid, as it does on action to push its excuse of a plot forward.

However, all movies are improved by the likes of Ving Rhames, Kelly Hu, and Robert Carlyle.

Also, I like a movie that doesn't make excuses about what it is. The Tournament offers to provide viewers with explosions, fist fights, and car chases, and delivers.

It did so in abundance on a budget of only 8 million, which really makes me wonder why so much more is needed for so many movies that deliver way less.
