Why I don’t write steampunk…

Actually, I consider what I write to be Steamnoir. Steampunk with a touch of pulp and mystery, sort of the mutant bastard child of Gail Carriger and Agatha Christie, if that makes any sense.

So, do you guys think I can launch my own new genre?
