Using WordPress.com to Build A Website
WordPress.com – Not Just for Blogging Anymore
Most authors would agree that it’s important to have a visibility on the Internet, usually via a professional website. But it isn’t necessary to spend hundreds of dollars to get one.
WordPress.com is a powerful program that can be the perfect tool to use in designing and maintaining a professional website without costing you hundreds of dollars to build and additional fees to maintain. A little time, some basic computer skills and you can design and maintain your information, giving you the flexibility in today’s market to keep your site up-to-date with your latest release or your hottest news.
This month-long class is designed for beginner level users, taking you from setting up the initial page to a finished product. Lessons will take 30-90 minutes per day, depending on your proficiency and familiarity with your computer and the Internet. This is a hands-on class, so enrollment may be limited.
Length: 6 weeks (4 weeks of lessons + 2 weeks for questions)
