21:40:16: Friend's gift of dark chocolate (G&B's 85% cocoa) saved me from collapse while working on copy edits and got me through choir practice.
21:42:31: Temp in the shade this afternoon was 98F. 84F on bank sign driving home at 9:30 pm.
21:46:09: Little current of cooler air just eased in the window and cooled my bare feet. 10:45pm Need sleep. Need more time with copy edits.
