Jacob Myers was the normal, average, run of the mill kind of guy. He often believed he was meant for something greater, and then on one fateful night in August, his life completely changed. It was the tragic event he suffered that gave his life a new meaning, a new direction. If he only knew what was about to come, he might’ve thought twice about making such a change.

About the Author

Jerrid Edgington has been a Paramedic for 15 years with a total of 17 years in the Emergency Medical Services field. He has experience in the inner city settings, small community, as well as rural settings. He began his career in Phoenix Arizona and then traveled to Boise Idaho, Spokane Washington, Moses Lake Washington and then eventually found his way back home to Oklahoma where he presently works for Le Flore County EMS as a Paramedic in Poteau Oklahoma. Jerrid has worked for several private and county EMS agencies. He also spent two years as a flight Paramedic in Boise Idaho. He is happily married to Jody, who is an Emergency Room Nurse. As well as writing, Jerrid spent several years as a high school football, and basketball official. Jerrid also played semi-pro football for six years until father time caused him to have to make a difficult decision and retire. In his spare time, he works with wood building furniture for his home.
