Chillow

If you’ve been on this blog for any amount of time you know I am a headache person.  I get them often.  Big ones, small ones, annoying ones, aching ones.  Headaches in my eyes, headaches in the back of my head.  Migraines, tension headaches, etc.  To get rid of headaches, it helps to put something cold on your forehead.  I grew up using a wash cloth that was dipped in ice cold water and wrung out, on my forehead.  Now I buy a version of Migraine Ice called Wellpatch for Migraine – it’s a strip that sticks on the forehead and stays cool.  It helps a lot.  But I also started using ice packs that I keep in the freezer, and if I wake up in pain, I wrap an ice pack in an old soft tee-shirt and put it on the back of my neck.  Recently I saw an ad on TV for something called a Chillow.  It comes in regular pillow size and mini size.  Basically you fill it with water, let it set for 4 hours, let the air bubbles out, and VOILA! You have a pillow that stays cool.  I fall asleep on it.  I usually slide it away from me in the middle of the night so when I wake up and need it most, I just pull it back under me. I can lay on my side and hit the correct spot on my temple, or lay on my back and let it soothe my neck.  Whether you’re a headache person or you just prefer a cool place to lay your head, this is for you! The full size is 24.95 and the mini is 19.95 on Amazon.  I had bought both and discovered the mini is just perfect and easier to sleep on!  Here’s my tester.  Bailey loves it too!  Are you a headache person or do you just like a cold pillow? Or could you care less, LOL!?
