Did you always want to be an author?

Yes, always yes. I was the kid in elementary school who was writing stories when I was supposed to be doing math. Or science. Or anything else, really. I'd create these little books out of my spiral notebook paper, staple the edges together, and pencil in my earliest covers. I started reading when I was 3 and loved language from that moment on!
