A to Z Song Challenge: I is for I Want You

Okay, so “I” was giving me fits.  There were so many songs, it was hard to narrow them down.

I mean, there’s I Need Love by LL Cool J (I remember that was the first rap song I knew all the words to), Inside My Love by Minnie Riperton (one of my all-time favorites), In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins, Imagination by Earth, Wind & Fire (old school favorite), In a Sentimental Mood by Duke Ellington (love it!), I Tried by Anthony Hamilton (big fan of his), I like it, by DeBarge (so many memories), I Can’t Help It by Michael Jackson (Off the Wall album was THE best)… really, I could go on.
In the end I chose a classic.  It was originally made my Marvin Gaye.  I rarely like when my songs are remade, but I absolutely LOVE a version done by Kirk Whalum, so I’m including both of them for your listening pleasure.  So…….
