Review on La tana di una booklover :D

Read the review on La tana di una booklover.

"It's a very hot and sticky summer day, the one in which Cristina knows Matt.
Sometimes the coincidences can really bring some nice surprises. Our protagonist was left home with the intention to help her cousin get ready for a party, but it is precisely in the little and demanding cousin's house who meets Matt.
The attraction that exists between the two is immediately apparent, and it is emphasized even more by the fact that the story is told from the point of view of the same Cristina. And she wants to be a leader in every way. A girl really good with men, anyway... and it was time! Maybe it will be fully credible, but it certainly is a big step forward compared to the usual cliché-type-o-Bella-Swan-Anastasia Steele.
But the most interesting part of this episode is... that does not happen at all what we would expect it to happen. Sure, Cris has many weapons, but also Matt is no joking, and it is a surprise to hear what Matt wants from her.
This first episode is absolutely well done, though... I can not wait to read the next one. The pages are few, but it certainly is an excellent first brick for this series.
Chiara Cilli, as I have already said, writes really well. The narrative is well built, and despite the brevity of this volume, the style is nice and well defined.
Obviously compared to The Lion's Promise, the situation is completely different, and I also appreciated the fact that the characters are outlined in a very different way than those who had met in the first novel, so the author also shows a good versatility.
As I said, I can not wait to read the next episode!
The erotic romance is not my thing, but I can not deny that this series intrigues me a lot and the story I was definitely intrigued."
