Drawing Digital: Same Same But Different

I was fortunate to get the chance to do one of this year’s two Copenhagen Comics posters, and the great people at CoCo asked me to photograph the process for a Facebook feature. I have received quite a lot of reactions, with a certain pattern: “Oh it’s drawn digitally, so… so you made your computer do the all work…”.

Well, unfortunately no :)

Drawing on a digital tablet (or more specifically: a Wacom board) offers lots of new tools, but alas! – you still have to draw the damn artwork yourself. I have collected some of the pictures below with simple annotations, showing the process from first sketch to final poster.
