I’m back! I had such a wonderful time at the RT Convention. I met the most wonderful people, from readers to bloggers to booksellers and authors. Everyone was incredibly friendly and amazing, and I can’t wait to go to the next conference.

I met THE Jude Deveraux and had quite the blubbering fangirl moment. It wasn’t my finest moment, but I got her to sign A Knight In Shining Armor for me, which is one of my favorite books.  It’s already sitting pretty on my keeper shelf. Meeting her was a conference highlight for me.

Jaycee Clark, one of my long time friends, a great writer, and Biker Dude thinks she makes the best cookies ever.

I was so very honored to receive a Career Achievement Award this year for Erotic Romance. Here I am trying not to completely blank on my acceptance speech. (Those lights are bright up there, y’all.)

I sat and visited with so many more people I didn’t get photos with, like the super amazing Jill Shalvis and the awesome Alyssa Day, some of my Twitter friends like Young Librarian. I’m bummed about that. But I had a wonderful time. Now I’m exhausted and need to sleep for a week, but copyedits for Hope Flames have arrived, and I have a book releasing tomorrow. It’s time to get back to work.
