God has not promised me sunshine  That’s not the way it’s going to be But a little rain, mixed with sunshine  A little pain makes me appreciate the good times.
These words have gotten me through many hard time in my life, especially recently with the passing of my Mother.  The words to the song urge us to be grateful in everything.  Things could definitely be worse.
