A Lengthy Comment...

I was taught one should never brag because it shows conceit...Okay...then I became a writer and what do I do day in and day out...brag...or at least talk about myself and my books. So...on this day, with new things looming on the horizon...

In what, in retrospect, appears to have been a moment of mental aberration, I allowed myself to become promotional/publicity manager for two...not one but two, count 'em, two...publishing houses... Double Dragon Publishing and Class Act Books. You've probably seen the blurbs, etc., I've been posting for DDP (and getting tired of them, too). I had a bit of a reprieve since Class Act is under new ownership and will re-open tomorrow and then I really get to work. This is in addition to handling my own publicity, writing a new novel, creating trailers...oh yes, I also review books for Two Lips Reviews and the New York Journal of Books, too.

DDP currently releases about 10 books a month. CAB will start off releasing 1-4 and go from there as they pick up steam. I'll be posting Calls for Submission for both in a little while.

I'm currently about 2 chapters away from finishing the transcription (call it the second draft) of the very first novel I wrote back in 1977, A Bit of the Dark World, a Lovecraftian paranormal.

Two of my novels are being released in May...The Seventh Mothman, a steampunk entry in the Lovers of Leonesse series, and That Demon in Blue Jeans, inspired by the country western song, Somebody's Knockin'.

Guess that's all from my neck of the woods...
