Daily April poem: riffing off of a 30/30 prompt

THREE FISH

Left in the cup-holder

of the convertible carseat:

three goldfish crackers

waiting patiently

to follow their fellows

into oblivion.

This poem is riffing off of the "three new fish" prompt at 30/30 poetry. New fish made me think of old fish, which made me think of goldfish crackers, and this poem unfolded from there.
