Ten days later

Well, my first book has been published now for just shy of ten days.  I never imagined how satisfying it would feel to get that email from Amazon to say it was available on the store, and to see that a few people have bought it too.

What I did not expect was to be embraced so warmly by the self publishing community; both the authors and of course the readers without whom this amazing movement would not be possible.

Everyone over at the Kindle Direct Publishing forums and, of course, http://www.goodreads.com have been truly amazing and inspirational.  I may not be outselling the Collins or Rowlings of the world, but thanks to the online community I feel that my writing has worth.
