Marilyn Last year the Sorbo family celebrated 150 years since their emigration from Norway. We went to the church cemetery where six generations of Sorbo's are interred and placed Norwegian flags at their graves, offering up prayers and sharing stories / memories of each one. It really does come full-circle . . . life, family, and those of us who 'will be the last ones to let them down.'

Thanks for writing such a wonderful read and sharing it with the rest of us.

Marilyn Marie,

Rachael Thank you, Marilyn! Six generations--that's incredible! Talk about being firmly rooted.

Isn't Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) from Minnesota? Any relation?

Marilyn Yes, our beloved Kevin is indeed from Minnesota and keeps his roots, so to speak, firmly grounded to his Norwegian heritage, love of family and continues to be an inspiration to all of us.
