It's about 70,000 words so far, and it's not finished. I would guess 300 pages by the time it's done.

It's about Kim and Abdullah and the General and Gabriel and Juan and the new characters, Eli Hannibal Green and Daniel and Jen and Wylie....

oh, those hard-headed boys, it's not going to be an easy road for them! Why do we love the stubborn ones so much?

It's funny, he's evolving a bit, turning into a more complex person. So is Kim. I'm kind of excited to be meeting both of them when they dive into the deep end of the pool. I've been surprised during the writing, the changes I wasn't expecting. They both are getting tougher before my eyes! Growing up, I guess. Their soaps are going to change.
I adore the new story! Lots of exciting action! I can't wait to get back to the computer and write each new scene... speaking of which, me and Gabriel need to telephone Juan...

I just finished the rough draft! Like, two minutes ago! My head's spinning. I'll send it off to Dreamspinner and keep my fingers crossed!

Fantastic news Sarah. Thank you! Hopefully dreamspinnerpress will publish it soon. Keeping fingers crossed too.

I just posted your excerpt and the vid of the Elephant Clock. Link is here http://wp.me/p220KL-1bR
Thanks again for permission to post. I can't wait for this to come out.

Thank you for reposting, I'm very excited about this story. Is that video wild, or what? I can't get over the Eastern Golden Age- how did I miss this in school?

Oh my GOD! How did I miss this?!?! Has there ever been anything better than Kim? Ever in this world?
I don't think here has.
I don't think here has.

This is great! I had hoped that you would write something about Kim and Abdullah, but I didn't know it is basically already there!
BTW end of the week I'll get the print copy of The General and the Horse-Lord. I want to have the books I love also on paper!

Kim is my darling boy and so is Billy, but they have some interesting times to live through. I am so in love with Gabriel. Strong, wild, deep in love. Swoon!
