WEEKEND OF LEGEND 3 – #WOL 3 – I Write – You Win!
First, HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY to my daughter JENNIFER!!!! There were a lot of adorable but you’d consider them embarrassing pics so I went with one you could live with. Because it’s your day and all. I love you! xoxo
Now – Not sure if you remember WEEKEND OF LEGEND 2 back in December — when a bunch of crazy authors wrote all weekend — and gave away prizes as they hit certain page counts? Well. WE’RE BACK. (I’ll update which authors are participating on Friday!)
*I say crazy b/c I ended up w/a massive working too hard migraine – but the huge page count I accumulated made it worthwhile – either that or I forgot the pain and am willing to try again!
WEEKEND OF LEGEND 3 – #WOL3
It’s mainly TWITTER based – I’m sorry for that – but it’s an immediate – as we work kind of thing – and Twitter is the most immediate form of social media/way to reach you guys on the minute.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
My goal is 15 k – 50 pages give or take – I’ll give out prizes every random 5K and random contests – :)
Here’s the main info you’ll need –
1. this is a TWITTER contest so yes, you will need a twitter account to play. And this is a fun chance to test out Twitter if you’ve never tried before, so go get an account! It’s free. To be entered in the contests we’ll be running all weekend you will need to (@ reply) – reply to – one or all of us using #WOL3 tag so we can find the responses among all the others to separate out to choose a winner.

2. We will be checking in every certain amount of words written and awarding prizes once we hit every word goal – again, more info Friday but wanted to give you a heads up!
3. Some of us will be running random contests as well, so keep an eye on that hashtag!
4. The #WOL3 contest will run from noon pacific/3 eastern, Friday Dec. 7 through midnight Eastern Sunday, Dec. 9. I won’t be there all the time – but you’ll know when I’m live and working/tweeting, trust me!
5. Contests will be open to international entries unless otherwise indicated (iTunes has geographical limits, for instance)
