The Staff of Moses Cover (small)

Independent Publishers Weekly Review

Oliver Lucas is a hunter of ancient relics with a specialty in those bearing supernatural powers. He is contacted by presidential candidate and frontrunner Senator Gary Wheeler to find a particularly special item: The Staff of Moses. Wheeler believes the staff will give him the power to win the election as it helped Moses lead his people, and he offers Oliver a generous reward and a dire threat for failure. But Oliver’s curiosity is piqued anyway, and with friend Diana Jordan, an ancient Egyptian linguistics expert, he leaps headfirst onto the trail across the western Egyptian desert with mercenaries at his back, murderous supernatural guardians standing in his path, and dark powers protecting the staff itself. Intellect, action, and historical puzzles wrap together in this adventure novel that manages thoughtfulness without turning pedantic, particularly when the characters speculate about genuine historical mysteries. A good yarn for those who like their brains and brawn in equal measure.

The Staff of Moses is available in print and as an ebook for the Kindle, Nook, and Kobo e-readers.
