I believe in readers' honesty, maybe because I am honest with my writing, and pour my heart into every line.

I am pleased with how readers have welcomed my novel, Daimones; it has received the coveted PRG Reviewer's Choice Award in Science Fiction in 2012 and has received the Awesome Indies Seal of Approval for good and enticing quality writing.

I don't have a budget for lots of advertising but I believe my story can touch the heart of many. Almost 10% of the readers has left a review on Amazon and Goodreads, and praised the story. Every day new readers find me.

I believe I can provide pleasant reading time to many but it is difficult to reach you. So, I had a crazy idea. Sometimes the craziest do work. I trust you, the reader, to be honest and willing to discover new authors. So this is my deal: discover my story, Daimones, get the ebook on Amazon, and tell me you are doing that with this deal: if you honestly did not like it, I will gift you an Amazon gift card for the same value, and you keep the ebook.

I'm confident you'll like it, that we will spend more time together, instead, with the second volume, "Once Humans" which will be published in June.

Blessed be.

Thank you, Rayne. I hope so too, I hope to make more and more readers happy to read my stories, as happy as I am writing them. I hope this is not seen as a clever stunt but as a sincere invitation to spend time together through the lines of a book.

Blessed be.

Joanne Mazzotta Massimo your story is a testimony of imaginitive possibilities. The way your mind crafted Daimones, is incredible!
Here is an abreviation of my review:

"When the possibilities provoked my thoughts as I continued to read this riveting fictional drama, I forgot I was reading fiction. Marino manages to keep up with the events contained in the story and I was there in Dan's house, on that day when life as we all know it changed from all that we think is true to a variety of hopelessness our humanness cannot imagine, and he made it all possible. Brilliant!

The intensity of his writing was stunning from the beginning to the end. Daimones is a powerful plethora of what the word, "dreadful" can and cannot be."

Joanne, my heart sings because of you. Thank you, I know my stories will not touch everyone, every time, but when it happens it is a miraculous thing.

When an author opens his mind and soul, and cries out every word in his mind to find the perfect pitch before daring to put it in writing, the only hope is to succeed in creating a channel and convey emotions and visions to the reader. It is a magical thing, I feel blessed whenever it happens.

Rayne Golay Massimo, we WILL spend time together through the words in our books, yours and mine. I'm not a lightweight who says things just to say something.
Joanne's glowing review of your book is great. In fact, it's so alluring I can't wait for the second one to come out so I can get to read it. So my fingers are crossed for you for a great book launch.

Rayne Golay Massimo, happy to give you moments of joy. Maybe you'll find more in my book THE WOODEN CHAIR set both in Helsinki, Finland, and Geneva. I've lived most of my life in Geneva, so it was a real thrill to set part of the story there, write about a place I know so well. Geneva lends itself to some great descriptions, don't you think?
