O is for Orchids!

Orchids. They are probably one of the most beautiful of all flowers. And they are among the most intimidating. To me anyway. I have tried to grow orchids repeatedly over the years, to no avail. I have no clue what I’m doing wrong but, they just don’t like me. Maybe I don’t have enough light in my house or I water them too much or something, I don’t know.

But I chose orchids for today’s topic because … well, the word does begin with an “O” and that is the letter of the day. But also because they sort of fit in with my romance theme. You see, orchids are very exotic flowers but, I have always felt that there is just something very erotic about the orchid as well. If you look at the blooms of certain orchids in just the right way, they sort of resemble certain parts of the human anatomy – both male and female. In a purely artistic way, of course! Or maybe I just have a really great, oversexed imagination. Have a look at the pictures below and see what you think!
