I've been working on proofreading books for authors--getting a good read in before the book is published. =)
Currently working on a curious post-apocalyptic novel, with a time travel twist thrown in.
Anyway, one book project I recently worked on was an interesting take on the story of Rumpelstiltskin. It's a little dark, but if you have ever read the original by the brother's Grimm, it is not that outlandish really.
The author has his own unique writing style that really adds a nice flavor to the boring old tale.
Give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
A Devil's Miscarriage by Loren Henny.
