Spud U Like...

Well, that's my potatoes planted, finally. After a year of moving house, massive stress, and then having to completely re-landscape my new garden, I have finally planted some veg. After the long, long, LONG, winter, we actually had a sunny morning yesterday. Didn't last long obviously, this is Northumberland! But it was long enough to get in my spuds and some Celeriac from the garden centre.

Pictures of the process can be found on my Twitter feed @JonGardener #gardening...

Predictably the weather has now reverted to normal, i.e. cold, windy and grey! Never mind, I've just completed the Death Star Run on Angry Birds and my free book promo went quite well. I'll be cooking a long, slow pot roast beef later with all the trimmings and a couple of glasses of vino.

This week I will be trying to write a short story for a guest blog post (more info soon) and my interview with Skelat.com should be online this weekend (hopefully).

BTW, the Hobbit film is surprisingly good, after all the bad reviews. Who'd have thunk it? Reviewers are full of crap! Hey, wait... Did I just review the film? Does that mean I just called myself...

Awwwww, nuts!
