Cast the book
If you've read One Boy's Shadow I'm sure you've visualized what the characters look like in your head. I know how I envision them but am curious to whom you would cast if the book were made into a film.
If you're like me, even when an author describes a character you may often determine in your mind that that isn't what the character looks like to you. How would you describe Caleb and Shane (or Ryley, Toby, Wendell, Blake etc)? Would love to read how others interpret them.
And, let's take it one step further, if you could cast any literary character of all time with any actor of all time, what role and star would it be?

Blake (sigh, love him) looks exactly like Axl off The Middle to me. It's rare for me to picture an actor in the role of a character from a book, but Axl just jumped out at me right from the start :)

I am not going to comment until you're finished, lol ;) I love seeing how others picture the characters... it's so great that each person can picture who they see in the pages. There is no right or wrong answer. Books are great for that and the conversations they foster!
