Vast Improvisation

 

The decision-making process is fundamentally a function or characteristic of consciousness itself. The open, unconditioned and infinitely responsive mind makes countless choices based on unimaginable possibilities and connections. This takes place far beyond our conscious comprehension. This function is a universal function - filtering down through every level of being.

You and everything that may appear is a vast improvisation.

Consciousness automatically chooses from moment to moment not because there is something instructing it, but because that is the only function it is capable of - that is all it does. Just one thing happening out of which the world and dreams and visions appear. This is the astonishing thing.
