"I'm trying to thank you, you Pointy eared hobgoblin!"

In my comments there were a few surprises that I didn't do Iron Man for yesterday's I. The moment I saw this I slapped my forehead. Because yesterday I was at a loss for I and it wasn't until I was writing the post I thought of Inception. And now you might be wondering why I didn't think of Iron Man since many know how much I like The Avengers and the lead up movies. I have an answer for you, editing.  Coming up with movies has been a lot harder then it normally would be, and I blame all this on editing. So, anyways, when it was brought up I have to admit, I don't like Inception more then Iron Man. I do really like Inception, but Iron Man is one of the Avengers, so he wins if there was ever a completion. (I completely spelt that wrong...)
And all that said, today's letter is  J! And for it I have a new favourite...
 John Carter.

John Carter and the Aliens who look like Rovee. (Points to whoever knows who Rovee is. *Hint, he's from a book.*)"Let me know when it gets dangerous."
When I first heard of this movie it was from a lot of Americans saying how bad it was and a lot of Brits saying how wonderful it was. Therefore, being as I trust British TV at the moment more then American I figure it couldn't be all that bad. I wasn't disappointed.
John Carter is a soldier fighting in the Civil War. One day he enters a cave where he is shot. When he wakes up he finds himself on a planet where there is little gravity, there are weird looking Aliens who can't decide if they want to kill him or keep him as some kind of pet, and there is a kind of Civil War about to break out between two different kinds of Aliens. (Oh yes, and he also meets a princess who is kind of in the middle of the Civil War.)
Having met both of the Aliens, and also - it has been while since I saw it so I didn't get a lot of the plot the first time. But from what I remember, he understands what both group of Aliens are fighting for and must decide which side he is going to take.
I thought it was a wonderful movie. I don't remember it having one thing I didn't like. The ending was a bit...depressing. One moment I was going, "Oh, a happy ending! Aw, now he finally has a home!" And then...I was silently doing the Luke Skywalker scream. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
I am really disappointed the movie didn't do better because it was based after a book series and I would have loved to see more of them. I guess I'm just going to have to try and find the books.
Quote is from Star Trek. (I think I shall make you all guess who is addressing whom. *Smirk*)
 Allons-y!
