Did you know . . .

Remember where you were when you found Dead Witch Walking? I asked that over at FB yesterday, and I was amazed at how many people did! The reason I bring it up is because though Harper’s Kindle sale for Dead Witch Walking seems to be over for the moment, For a Few Demons More still has that 2.99 price.

Because it’s a publisher sale, it is for US residents only, and publication stops at the border. I’m hopeful that the other e-platforms follow suit, but for now, it’s only For a Few Demons More, (awarded B&N’s Best paranormal fantasy of the decade) so if there is anyone you have been trying to get hooked on the Hollows, this just might do it. It’s always more fun when you swear at Tink and your best friend knows what you’re talking about.

So, direct link to the 2.99 sale of For a Few Demons MoreKindle FDM

9:30 OMGosh, the 2.99 price is gone. (wide eyes) I think it was a mistake. But I’d love to hear how you found the books, anyway.

Dark Ape My mother found it and told me that since I liked Dresden Files so much, she was sure I'd this book as well. What can I say except that she was right, but it figures since I picked up my love of reading from her. :)

Charlotte I go through books so quickly that I find myself browsing book stores in the search for my next big find. I had just finished a J.R. Ward book and I asked the clerk if she'd recommend anything similar. She recommended DWW and oh my goodness, I fell in love with Racheal and Jinx. Last year while my husband was deployed, I managed to get him to read it and he loved it (although he'd never admit it, Army guy and all of that jazz) and he's now on book 3.

Nims I was at B&N scanning for new authors and this was just newly out in paperback. I loved the cover adn took a peak inside to see if the writing style grabbed me!

It sure did! The Hollows, what an intriguing place to find onself!!!

Drew can you believe I found your series from my Grandma? Friend of hers gave her Every Which, Outlaw Demons and The good, the bad. So thought this sounded interesting and been hooked ever since.. Also have read all the Ravy Fanfictions :)

message 5: by Melissa (new)

Melissa I actually read The Good, The Bad and the Undead first, which I found in the piles and piles of books my hoarder grandmother had obtained, and then I ordered Dead Witch Walking not long after :)

Valerie My husband worked at Barnes and Noble and said he knew a series I might like. I was hooked! Got caught up and had to wait forever for the next book. I now dedicate a vacation week for new releases!

message 7: by Heather (new)

Heather I found it shortly after getting my kindle back in 2009. I was trying to find a new series to read since I've always been stuck waiting for the same authors. So I decided that it was time to broaden my horizons. I went to the kindle top sellers list and came across "Dead Witch Walking". I saw that it had an excerpt and the option to read the first chapter. While reading it I couldn't stop laughing and then I had to read it out load because my mom was wondering what was so funny. Needless to say I was hooked. Now I have every book on my kindle as well as in book form. I'm still trying to get the whole series in hardback, but that little taste that kindle offered was enough for me to bite and I'm so glad I did.

Amy-joan I found it in the library, ordered all the others whilst I was there, and two weeks later I began reading sat in the car outside ASDA. At first I was like "it's okay" but then got half way through and ZAM. The next person to come between me and those books well... I feel guilty NOW, but then... oops.
I have had each on preorder ever since. And I push them onto EVERY person I meet (Only one person "didn't like it" So, naturally, I got them the book for christmas, and now... they're hooked. :) So yeah, addicted, thanks to my local library. :D

Jessica S My local librarian, a paranormal ficton lover, recommended the series. I own all the books either digitally or hard cover now. Sometimes I can't wait for the bookstore to open on release day. Her books make laugh when a particular scene or saying pop into my head. I stalk Kim Harrison's website waiting to find my newest read. I even liked the series written under Dawn Smith.
