E is for Ereader
Welcome to the E day of the A-Z Challenge. Today I’m talking about ereaders! A few years ago, I was initially a little hesitant to use one. I thought they looked really cool, but I wasn’t sure I was ready to give up my paper books. And then I got my first kindle…
I can’t tell you how much I love my kindle!! Actually, I love all of my kindles. I sort of have a kindle obsession. A new one comes out and I just have to have it. I have/had a second generation, keyboard, touch and now a paperwhite. The paperwhite is by far my favorite of all time! It’s heaven.
Now when I read paper books, I find them annoying. I have to hold them with both hands. I have to turn on a light so I can read the words. I can’t increase the text size!! Ugh. Torture.

I know the per-order factor is great, you can have the book that day and I like that my nook can recommended books as well.
But, recently, I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite (see, great minds think alike!), and, the more I use it, the better I like it. Downloading books is so easy and so inexpensive compared to buying books in a bookstore and then having to store them on a tottering bookshelf. And, I also love the fact that I don't have to worry about having the right light to read by.
I think I will always have a love affair with physical books. They will always be a part of my reading experience in the future. But, I also don't regret my decision to buy the Kindle and will continue to enjoy reading ebooks as well.
