TWO REALLY BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!!

I am incredibly excited to announce that I have signed a representation agreement with Jessica Alvarez with BookEnds LLC Literary Agency AND have just accepted a four book offer from SOURCEBOOKS (negotiated by Jessica) for my first contemporary romance series!

The TWIN BRIDGES SERIES is set in Southwestern Montana and features a number of great modern day cowboys and the women who love them. The first book is SMOOTH TALKIN’ COWBOY (title may be subject to change by publisher). It’s slated for a June 2014 release (simultaneous digital AND print!) with the rest of the series to follow at three month intervals.

Although the setting is contemporary, the whole cowboy culture is very near and dear to my heart. I’m a life-long equine enthusiast  with a love of Westerns that goes back to my childhood when I frequently borrowed my Grandpa’s Louis L’Amour novels.

In these new  stories,  readers can expect the same attention to detail I have tried to deliver in all of my books with a well- developed plot, interesting, multi-dimensional characters, smart, snappy dialogue, and  highly sensual love scenes.  Here’s a link to a sneak peek if you have not already checked it out: http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/329430-smooth-talkin-cowboy

For those of you who might be concerned about my historical romances, I will be finishing JEWEL OF THE EAST for a JUNE release, but the rest of the stories will not have any firm release dates until I have a better feel for how long the Cowboy series is going to take.

Kathleen Drat! I was looking forward to Jewel Of The East to be released this month. Oh well, I'll just have to wait a bit longer.
I must say I'm excited for the new Cowboy series.

You GO VICTORIA!!!

Thanks so much Kathleen. I do have to say it's VERY VERY dificult for me to switch gears back and forth from 18th century England to Contemporary Montana. So I'm trying to get far enough along in one project that I can put it compltely aside for a while to work on the other.
