Beyond the Grave

Easter is over.

The sermon is done.  The hymns have been sung. The children have consumed too much chocolate, as have we - among other fattening foods.  The last of the ham is cubed and waiting to be put in the crock pot with some beans and veggies.

Easter Sunday has passed.

Our lives have gone on.

But the Bible didn't stop with Jesus resurrection. Nor did it stop with His ascension. Actually - Jesus resurrection and ascension marked the beginning of a new era.

The Early Church.

If you are not Jewish by decent, this is where you come in!


Beyond the grave lies a whole new aspect of the church that we often forget.

Pentecost

The Holy Spirit

The Apostles' ministry

The gospel that reached the gentiles

Persecution

Martyrdom
