How Not To Increase Your Social Media Fan Base [A Rant]

He has 39,000 devoted Twitter followers, and yet, it's not enough.

"Him" being a popular social media figure I admire.

But instead of his witty updates and satirical commentary, his Twitter feed has lately been filled with "Are you following me on Facebook? Why not!?" and "My best work is on Instagram. Are you following me there yet?!" type messages.
