Day Two

Oh, What a Lie!

I'll respect you if you sleep with me
The grass over there is greener
It doesn't hurt much all that much
and chocolate makes you leaner

People are usually nice
Always trust a stranger
the apocalypse will never happen
And zombies won't ever be a danger

The government is our defender
It protects and loves us
No, dictatorship isn't coming our way
And we'll never be sacrificed under the bus

Our planet isn't suffering
Global Warming doesn't exist
Poverty isn't a problem
No, humankind isn't at risk

Our children are not dying
Their parents are not loosing hope
There are jobs and houses for everyone
No suicides at the end of a rope

We don't shoot each other's kids
We help our fellowman
We don't have to lock our doors at night
And no one needs a hand

The greatest nation in the world
Full of laughter and fun
The wars are not endless
And we always won

So many lies
So much deceit
When it all falls around our boots
We'll have earned an unarguable receipt
