The novel is a complex interwoven story of a Kalari exponent and his accidental journey into the hills of Himachal for building hydel power plant and a side character from the Kashmiri Shepard tribe. Those wanting to be in the business of hydel power plants, this book is a definite guide to the issues involved and the risks! The triumph in the story is clearly Nanda, a tough go getter,whose courage and determination makes things possible against adverse conditions! I strongly recommend this debut novel for the shear live characterisation, details of events( many of them I suppose based on real stories & issues) and strong grip on the subject. The novel is worth reading and gifting to friends & family!
