The way I pictured them, the tops and sides of the creche were glass, while the foot was solid, so when you looked at the wall, it was all solid, but once a "bridesicle" slid out, she's hanging suspended, wrapped in the silver blanket.
Thanks for writing!

The option has actually expired, so it's back on the market. But assuming someone else picks it up, I'll have to think about my dream cast. I'll get back to you...

Winter: Kiera Knightly
Rob: John Cho
Mira: Liv Tyler (she's 36, but I think she can play 27)
Nathan: Henry Cavill
Lorelei: I'm stumped. I need a tall, gorgeous, cocky woman with a diverse ethnic background. I think it will have to be a newcomer.

1) You are hands down my favorite author right now
2) How many different types of relationships are there in the 'Love Minus Eighty'-verse? I was really intrigued by the platonic vs. love relationships and their implications for how we view human bonding today (full disclosure: I am in a womance right now).
Thank you,
Kelsey

I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying my books - thanks for the kind words.
I've never actually laid out all of the types of relationships, though I envision that there are dozens of them in this future. I'm friends with two women who have lived together for decades in a platonic friendship, and that got me thinking that there are so many ways people can be close to each other, but we only "legitimize" a few of those. I think it's something I'll probably explore further at some point.
Thanks so much for posting.
Best,
Will

I've given my copy of 'Love Minus Eighty' to the gastroenterologist next door to read and one of the neighborhood kids gets it next!
