Catching up or trying...
This early part of the year has not been to nice to me. But I have a few days off from my day job so I am trying to start April on time and get caught up. So here is some of the blogging things I missed...
Talk about your favorite historical time period or event.
I am a history buff. I enjoy anything from ancient pagan civilizations to Victorian England. I love seeing how they lived their lives. So when it comes to the shows Vikings, Spartacus, Rome, and movies Like Elizabeth, and any Queen is general. I am a huge fan. Others that fit Braveheart, Rob Roy and so many others. I am also a video gamer and one of my favorite games is the God of War series. I LOVE ancient Greek/Roman and have a soft spot for the Percy Jackson books and movies.

We live in societies where we still have closed minded people. We should be over all that. Rights to marriage, children, race, sex, even abortion. People have the right to be happy and be free to choose things for themselves. What is best for me? I will make that choice. But I was blessed with an open mind and I will not make choices for others, sometimes I might secretly question those decisions but it is not me to say anything.
Share a joke or comic and tell us why you picked it I will share a new comedian that I have discovered Jim Jefferies. I had seen his stand up on netflix at a friends house and he was pretty funny. Me and the hubs end up catching his new FX show Legit and we liked it so much that we have decided to get caught up with it which we have. It is funny. I highly recommend it.
Blog about honesty...is there a such thing as too honest? Honesty is a hard one to talk about. I have lived my life around dishonest people. But I have tried to learn from them and stay honest. Me and the hubs came into our relationship with honesty and it has works. I believe there is such a thing as too honest. I have never had to be so bluntly honest to destroy a life. But I think sometimes yes the truth hurts, but I know people who live their lives happy with the lies they spun around themselves, so deluded that when people points out honesty to them they totally swat it away.
As a writer I want people to be honest about what I give them to read. Hell I am not perfect, and neither is my writing. You should see what it looks like when I get it back from the editors. EEEK! I understand that I am possibly going to get a few people who dislike my stuff and I am okay with it. In honesty I want your honesty :oD Okay I think I need to get to some actual writing...
