Looking for a new author…or two?
Five years ago today, an editor at Ellora’s Cave pulled my submission, Kiss Me, Kate, from the slush pile and gave me and my story a shot. Thought it might be fun to sort of pay it forward. I met these gals on Facebook and we’ve chatted a bit about writing and publishing. They’ve both recently self-published books and I wanted to give them a little shout-out.
The first book is called His Right Hand by Silence O’Shea. I had the opportunity to read this book and holy crap! It’s amazing. It’s everything I love about a book–funny, clever, DIRTY. This is Silence’s first book and I really want to hate her a bit because honestly, nobody should be this good out of the gate. But lucky for us…she is! I’d highly recommend it.
Mike Jasper might be one hell of a catch on paper, but he’s still lacking in a few crucial areas. Just ask his impressive list of disgruntled, dissatisfied exes. Who knew good looks, a hard body and plenty of money weren’t enough, especially between the sheets? When it comes to sex, he reluctantly admits he needs help. And who better to ask than his longtime assistant? Ellen is his right hand, completely devoted. She already sees to his business needs. Surely she can offer a few pointers in pleasure?
After a humiliating demonstration of his limited skills, Jasper’s relieved when Ellen agrees, apparently recognizing a cry for help when she sees one. And the first thing he learns? His intelligent, austere assistant has been hiding an insanely hot and horny vixen under those business suits! Before long, Jasper’s office is a flesh-filled pleasure den, Ellen’s sexual satisfaction crucial to finding his own. He’s learning more than he’d ever dreamed possible under Ellen’s titillating tutelage…included some unexpected lessons in love.
His Right Hand is available at Smashwords, Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
The second author I’d like to introduce is Scarlett Metal. Her newest release is Naughty Girl. I bought the book this morning, ready to read, and then…hello Murphy’s Law…edits arrived. It’s top of my TBR pile for next week’s spring break. I will say for a new author, Scarlett seems to be making quite a splash. Reviews of her two stories are very good and her Amazon ranking sort of makes me want to hate her too. LOL
Alexandra loved the hot sex she experienced as a submissive in the bedroom, but would never give her heart to any man.
After getting hurt by his sub and wife, Paul swore he would never make that kind of commitment to a woman again.
They meet at the club that Alex frequents and quickly become play partners. The sex is amazing, but despite their reservations, they begin to fall for each other. Will they be willing to admit their feelings for each other?
Naughty Girl is available at Amazon.
