Snippet Sunday!!

I new snippet from yet another WIP hope you enjoy the tease!

Izzy closed her eyes. She had sensed the darkness as it came in the door. Blood, sex, frustration and anger, most of the Dark Warriors wore the smell as if it was their only skin. She righted herself in her chair, and knew who had come in before even looking. And he was walking straight for them. Dargan walked with a purpose; he had an air about him as if he owned everything and everyone in his path. Shoulder length black hair, made his skin luminous, which made his fall orange-brown eyes glow. And they did not glow with light and laughter, oh no his glowed with darkness and evil purposes.
He was followed by his close cronies. All wore black, to match the black hair and makeup they wore. They looked the part of the traditional vampire, but they were far worse than a mere half-breed. All of them except for one were all Warriors, and Dark Warriors at that. Dark Warriors lived on Human Blood.                All Warriors lived off blood, but the Light Warriors who still lived by the Goddess lived on animal blood. Dark Warriors defied the Goddess, and drank human blood since she valued them more than any other creature. Human blood had made the Dark Warriors mean and a bit insane throughout the years, and with each generation, it seemed to get worse.
Dargan stopped at their table. Izzy looked at her watch. “Well you’re up early,” she said seeing it was only two in the afternoon.
“I came to call you to the circle,” Dargan said. “I have talked to council you are expected in an hour.” He turned and left with his group.
Izzy stared after him. Her phone chirped, she numbly opened it and answered. “Trouble,” she said into it as her French accent came out as the others at the table stared at her.
Her fear bit into her, and she knew how he knew so fast, she had opened the tie to Vidal. “Dargan has made a blood challenge. Yes, in an hour.” She hung up, and looked around.
“It is okay to be frightened,” Jenny said.
“I would have wet myself,” Jimmy said.
“Plead to council,” Toby said taking her hands. “He has no reason to call you into challenge. Plead to council.”
“We should get going,” she said still in shock. She could feel other feelings, anger and more fear, which were not hers.
