Book 2 will be about a character who made a brief appearance in TUW - Bryce Palmer (Rick's brother) and Book 3 will be about Sandro's buddy, Gabriel Braddock.

And lovely stuff that you're coming home to SA. Is your feathered baby coming with?

Great to hear from you again.
I am most definitely taking my baby home with me. But, man, it's so difficult arranging the relocation of a pet budgie. You'd think it would be easier than this, since he's just this tiny little scrap of cheerfulness. But nope. Sending a great dane home would be easier. It's keeping me quite stressed out but I'm determined to bring him home. I can't imagine leaving him here. He'll have to be in quarantine for a month though, poor little angel.
Thanks for asking :D
Cheers

You know those djembe drums that are made here? Tourists love them and I recall years ago how my brother, when he left for Aussie, had to leave his djembe at customs for a month as well. He was NOT impressed.

According to the pet relocation company I'm using, the best airline for this is Lufthansa, which doesn't fly into Cape Town (aaaaaargh!!!). So Oliver will probably be in quarantine in Johannesburg and after the month is up will have be put onto another flight to get from Jhb to Cpt. I really wanted to get the traumatic flying bit over in one go. Travelling from Japan to Cape Town is a headache and a half, man. He's going to be a nervous wreck when he gets home :( I'm hoping the quarantine centre is calm and peaceful. I hope he can still talk when I get him back. He's got a pretty good vocabulary, I would hate for him to lose that.

Thanks for the congratulations :)
I don't know yet what Montlake's selling strategy will be. I hope that you would simply be able to update it but I fear that that may not be the case. There will be no major changes made to the storyline, just grammatical updates. I don't want to change the story, I'm quite happy with it as is. So if you're happy with your current edition you won't be missing out on major changes but if you want a paperback copy that will be available for sale as well (yay).
Glad you're excited about Gabe's story. I'm pretty excited about it too. I have big plans for poor Gabe (mwuhahahahaha).

Awesome about TUW. I'm happy with my copy so I'm good. Thanks for the update.

All the best.

Thanks for the interest in Book 2 (which I've provisionally named A Husband's Regret - that may change though).
To answer some of your questions - Tam, I'm not sure when it will be released in Canada. Can't you get it on Kindle?
Savanna - I think I've already replied to your message but for the sake of others who may be interested in the answer, T and A aren't heavily featured in book 2. You'll see more of them in the third book because Gabe and Sandro are such good friends.
Somi and Leslie - I'm very happy that you enjoyed The Unwanted Wife. I hope you'll enjoy AHR too.

Hugs

Have an Umeshu (or Chu-hi) on your birthday and know I am there in spirit with you. Even better, sing Barbie Girl during karaoke and know I am there in heart. ;)

Umeshu, Barbie Girl, on the list - just for you.
Will send you a proper email later.
Love

I'm happy that you enjoyed the book :) Unfortunately, I have no news on a release date for A Husband's Regret yet. It has been completed but I'm waiting to hear from my publisher regarding dates. I'm hoping it won't be too much longer. I hope you'll remain patient a little longer.
In the meantime, I love answering questions and chatting with people, so please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments :)
Have a wonderful day.
Natasha

It's been an annoyingly stressful time. Packing, dealing with red tape regarding Oliver's move and work on top of that. I can't wait to just get home and take a breather (although once I'm there, I'll be living with the fam in a small house in Mitchell's Plain until I find my own place - which brings its own special brand of stress :P ).
Sorry about the complaints. I'll bet you're sorry you asked, huh?!
Hope you're having a lovely day.
Cheers
Natasha
PS. I'm still waiting for the publisher to let me know about dates re: A Husband's Regret. Aaaarrrrghhhhhh!

Poor Oliver - but if you're assured that he will be taken care of then its a some stress less to deal with, right?
Talk about red tape - bane of our lives - did you know there's a red tape elimination campaign going on here in SA? I kid you not.
So many changes since you were last here (8 yrs ago IIRC): good changes and of course the "usual".... lol
Ms De Lille herself hit the papers and radio talk shows EARLY this morning - ohh the wonderful drama that awaits you....
YAY _ Just seeing that title of your next book: A Husband's Regret, brings it so much closer to being a reality for us readers. Cant wait cant wait.
Hope you settle in nicely here - I'm sure you wont have problems finding your own place quickly - there's so many on offer - just depends on the area, I suppose.
When you next check in here, send a quick note on how your mum is doing now?
Otherwise go well, get here safely!

I so loved the first book but I don't remember a Bryce mentioned. Am I missing something? I have to say that I have reread this book numerous times and is my favorite keeper.

Your biggest fan!
