First review for The Lion's Promise on Romanticamente Fantasy!
"From Morwen and Galadir's great Kingdom of Penthànweald the author takes us to East Africa, where a legend tells of an ancient Emerald, kept in the Rupe of Fate, capable of changing the soul of a man in the wild nature of his Majesty the lion.
Among the beautiful landscapes worthy of the best National Geographic documentary we meet three young lion cubs playing with each other and running carefree in the savannah, when suddenly a white light emanating from their chest wrap them completely... and when the glow turns off in their place we find three teenagers: Jamila, daughter of the pack leader Rashid and her two friends Daren and Kenan. Yes, you read well, are shapeshifters!! Strong in animal form just as in the human, the girl has a good temper and she is attracted by the beautiful and damned Kenan, who does not reciprocate fully and wants to see the world, and finally Daren, the reliable friend that everyone wants and hopelessly in love with Jamila (often takes some nice fish in the face!! poor). The life flows peacefully in the herd until the arrival of foreign men, going to disturb their routine... A new friendship and a painful betrayal will create a series of dramatic events and painful for all involved. But a promise rekindles hope that only time will achieve...
Don't say more...
Before we get to my vote I want to say a few sentences about the writer than her other works I've read. I noticed in her writing a maturity which I don't think is due to the growth of age; I appreciated the fact that she knows how to take risks because in the Queen of the Underworld there was still a lot of potential that deserved to see the light, and here she proposes a new and diametrically opposed book, with new characters to which you grow fond a lot. Congratulations Chiara and good job, keep it up because I wait for your future works.
Congratulations for the cover, for the beautiful graphics and for the book trailer I've seen and shared on facebook."
