I am super-excited that tomorrow is the day
Work of Art will be available on Amazon and Smashwords.com! I just love the way the story turned out since the idea I originally had when I thought about writing Ryan’s story changed a lot through the writing process as my ideas usually do.
This book has sort of been a long time coming since when I wrote
Just Watch the Fireworks back in 2011, I always wanted to give Ryan a happy ending. I sort of put him through the ringer and vilified him, and he definitely deserved more. Hopefully you will see when you read this book that Ryan is a really sweet, caring guy who was a victim of circumstance in a lot of ways. Now it’s his chance to find his happy ending, but because of all he’s been through, he doesn’t exactly have a straight line to follow to that happy ending.
And for Harper, a new character, who’s edgy and tough and incredibly guarded, she knew Ryan once upon a time when life was simpler and she wasn’t so jaded. But now they get a second chance to know each other again, and who knows what will happen. There will definitely be some surprises along the way.
Ordinarily, I share the playlists for my books in advance, but in truth there are some songs on this playlist that, if you know them, they’ll completely give away some of the secrets that are later revealed. So I’m holding back in order to maintain the integrity of the story, because honestly, what good are revelations if you already know what’s coming. That’s no fun.
Hopefully you will be surprised and will like the way the story flows, twists, and turns. And hopefully, by the end of it, you will love Ryan and Harper, because they are really two of my favorite characters.
And lastly, I have to thank my friend, Cheryl, who helped me edit this story. If not for her, there would have been quite a few errors, so I truly thank her for the time she took to read the book, not once, but twice to make sure it was flawless for all of you.
Enjoy!
