Recap: Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm Launch Event
IRVINE, CA—Blizzard Entertainment celebrated the official launch of Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm at the Irvine Spectrum on March 12th, 2013. This extraordinary event boasted special guest appearances, live competitive Starcraft matches hosted by Day 9 & Team Liquid, exclusive swag giveaways, in-depth looks into the cinematics for the expansion Heart of the Swarm, and autograph signings by the developers themselves!

Thousands of fans gathered for this incredible event, and even though it was quite a chilly night for Southern California, these loyal patrons stayed all through the night, some till 5:00 a.m. to snag their favorite developers autographs. This loyalty from fans reflects the quality and heartfelt attention that Blizzard Entertainment gives their games.
