Chris Ok, I read the post on your blog but am commenting here so I can read comments, should you have a chance to reply.

*BIG HUGS*

So very sorry to hear that things have gotten to where they are!! Hopefully all your publishers have been understanding...

Kim Dare *Hugs back*

The publishers have been fine with it. I'm not saying they're all thrilled, but most have been very understanding and they've all accepted that things are the way they are.

BTW - when I get around to it I'm going to switch back to a different blog format - it's driving me crazy not to be able to get updates of comments too!

Kat *hugs* I hope things get better for you soon and hopefully your health improves.

I'm glad your publishers were understanding and didn't give you a hard time. I'm looking forward to reading Temporary Mark, I pre-ordered it and it comes out on my birthday, that's so great :) I love your books and am always very happy when a new one comes out. I re-read Duck! yesterday, it's one of my all-time favorites.

*big, big hugs*

Kim Dare Thanks Kat *hugs back*

I'm so glad you're enjoying the stories - I'm looking forward to seeing Temporary Mark come out - I have a huge soft spot for Mr Nolan :)

Have a great birthday!

Me too, I liked him in Bi Now, Gay later, he was so kind to Jerry. :)

Thank you, I'm sure my birthday will be great :)

Phaney You're an amazing writer (one of my rare all-time favourites) and that means I'll happily wait however long it takes for you to create something new. It'll be worth it.

Much more important is your health and, while I understand how frightening it must be to let go of that safety blanket of 1k/day, maybe this is a part of what will help you get better in the long run. I definitely hope so!

All I know is that for me it works that way: To get something done I need to sink my teeth into it and stick with it but that also worsens my anxiety issues. When the project ends I am a wreck because that daily task (and pressure) is suddenly gone and I am left adrift. I've just come out from something like that. Took a month just to piece myself together. Naturally mine is a completely different situation from yours, but I do think maybe it helps me understand you a little.

All the best to you! You'll get better! *hug* <3

Completely understandable that it's not a top priority at the moment. :)

Sherry F Take care of yourelf!

message 9: by Jenny (new)

Jenny Sorry to hear you are having a rough time. I'm with everyone else though. I absolutely LOVE your books, all of them. I re-read them all the time. It's more important to take care of yourself then to stress about if we'll be disappointed. We got your back! I look forward to all your releases no matter how long there is in between them <3 *hugs*

Kim Dare Hi Phaney - I think there are quite a few similarities. Thank you for all the encouragement - I'm glad you're enjoying the books :)

Thanks Sherry! You too :)

Hi Jenny - Thanks, hearing that does help :)

*Hugs*

Kim.
