Circumcision and Penile Sensitivity: Accepting the Data Rejecting the Premise

A new study, published last week in the journal BJU International has got me all bent out of shape. It's not the conclusions that I find troubling. The study - which involved asking 1,369 men to rate the sensitivity of their penis and then divided the group by who was and was not circumcised - delivered unsurprising conclusions. When you surgically remove a piece of skin from the penis, it has an impact on how that penis feels.
