Want a Copy of the Disconnect Trilogy for Free?

Since Disconnect was released, sales have been steady. It’s doing well enough to know that there are readers (not associated with me as friends or family) that want to read more, but not well enough for me to become a full-time writer. Alas… if only [heavy sigh].

Making a profit on sales is important from an investment point of view. Self-Publishing comes with expenses that sometimes can’t be cut like: Editing, Proofing, Formatting, Cover Creation and the biggest of the lot: Marketing. Sometimes, the goal is just to break even.

I have an alternate angle. My main focus is to get readers and to hope that they appreciate my style, the novel, or the overall package, and return to read more. I’m a writer – yes  I am – but if I get the feeling that I’m spending money on a product that isn’t selling – then I’ll have to rethink my dream.

And thus, we come to what I’m doing to increase coverage rather than sales.

review

If you’ve purchased Disconnect from iBookstore, Amazon, Kobo, etc, then please do rate and leave a review.

In addition – I’d like readers to rate and leave a review on Goodreads.

And in case you didn’t know: Disconnect can be downloaded for Free or Read in Full at Goodreads.

Expecting everyone to love Disconnect can never happen, so I won’t be offended or distraught from low ratings or killer reviews. As long as they are honest and haven’t been planted just for planting sake, then I’m all-good with that.

What do you gain out of this?

Simples … If you place a review on Goodreads – I will email you a Free Copy of the sequels.

Book 2: Disassemble is due June 2013, and

Book 3: Disrupt is due … on the same day! June 2013.

Sure – I lose sales, but the coverage gained by your ratings and reviews, and the potential word-of-mouth is absolutely worth it.

There is no catch.

1)      Leave a review for Disconnect on Goodreads

2)      I will contact you late early June

3)      I will send you an e-copy of both Book 2 + 3

4)      Hopefully you’ll rate and review them too…

If you like this, please share and let others know.

Logically – this works out to obtaining each part of the Trilogy for Free!
