How to Mortify Your Daughter

Several days spent writing and recovering from travel. My dog is good, my bees are happy, I'm writing (scripts mostly), I'm eating healthy foods and walking and really life is enormously enjoyable and has very little in the way of adventures. The wildest thing I am doing currently is not shaving.
Matt Smith's debut episode of Doctor Who arrived on Saturday, and Maddy and I prepared to watch it. But Maddy, who is now fifteen and a half and has a driving permit, had gentlemen...

C.E. Thornton Oh I love Matt Smith as the Doctor already (Not that I don't miss David Tennant)!!! I could tell by watching his interviews that he was perfect and none of my friends would believe me. They're all very meek right now. :D

my three children are now in their 20s, and i've undoubtedly mortified them hundreds, if not thousands, of times

Myra My 5-year-old grandson who was visiting for the weekend was initiated into the Dr. Who appreciation society this past Saturday. We had told him that we were watching it and he could either sit quietly and watch it or play by himself in another room. By the end of the evening he was running around chanting "Doctor Who! Doctor Who!" and wanting to get some action figures.
