{CGM} DexCom G4 Platinum Has LONG Range…most of the time.

In the spring of 2012 we had a trial of the Medtronic CGM* and subsequently began using the DexCom 7+ CGM in the summer. In late 2012 we ordered the DexCom G4 Platinum.

One of the reasons why we wanted to upgrade to the G4 after only recently starting the 7+ was for the increased range. With the 7+ she needed to keep the receiver on her body or close to it. The G4 boasts a range of up to 50 feet.
