All is Not Well With the Flewellings

On Thurday Doug came down with a sudden case of pancreatitis, gallstones, fever and general awfulness. He's been in the hospital for the past three days, drugged up and miserable. I am living the greater part of each day in the chair beside his bed during the day, trying to write, study, and generally be productive while he sleeps, plus helping out when the nurses aren't around and dealing with doctors. At night I sleep on a fold out chair beside his bed. So far his illness is not life threatening but he is sicker than I have ever seen him. Matt and Tim are being a huge help, taking care of the dogs and house and running errands for me. Not fun!
