As I Edit

As I sit here editing my first two young adult fantasy books, I marvel at how much fun I am having writing. My two children’s books were great, fun little experiments. I will probably write more of them in the future because I wrote them for my seven year old daughter to enjoy, but writing for an older audience in a voice that I am enjoying has been an amazing experience.

I can’t wait to see the end result.

My goal for my writing is to be able to drop down to 1 12 hr shift at my day job, and write for a living. That is what I have always wanted to do. I first started writing in 1994. I was writing a fantasy book then that I thought was amazing. It is now being recreated into a different story, which I will work on when these first two are complete.

My first YA book will be titled The Lost Dreamer

I expect it in March 2013.

The next should come soon after titled SUN AND MOON

The third is a collection of stories called Elementals
